“But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints. For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem. It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things.” Romans 15:25-27
The Lord revealed to us through the scripture above and below, that we are to bless the believers in the land of Israel as Cyrus did in Isaiah 45:13.
“I have raised him (Cyrus) up in righteousness, And I will direct all his ways; He shall build My city And let My exiles go free, Not for price nor reward,” Says the LORD of hosts.” Isaiah 45:13.
This heart attitude is important to the church and to us as believers. Giving to Israel and the believers in the land is like giving to God. We are to do it “not for price nor reward”. I believe God has shown me the church is to tithe to Israel as Abraham did to Melchizedek and we, as the body, are to tithe to the church. I believe it fulfills, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” It is tithing to God’s government, which is represented by Jewish and Gentile believers – the One New Man – Ephesians 2:14-18
This is the church that will overcome in the end!

Nissim and Hadassah made Aliyah in 1989 with their 5 children. Living near Jerusalem, Nissim worked for CBN News (accountant). They enjoy having 14 grandchildren within walking distance and spend a lot of their time being together with family.
Through their ministry, ‘His Lighthouse’, they have opened their 4- bedroom home to new immigrants (Olim) to live for a season while they go through the process to becoming Israeli citizens. It takes a lot to acclimate psychologically, financially, spiritually to life in Israel. Nissim and Hadassah do all they can to help ease the process, one family at a time.
With an eye to the future as told in the Jeremiah 16 vision of a future massive Aliyah- one greater than the Exodus from Egypt- the Lerners believe God is calling them to prepare and develop a complex to receive many Olim. Their vision is of a welcoming, peaceful, healing, resting place to safely come in the harbor and acclimate to their new life.

Jeremy and Lissa Smith were called to Israel in 2003. They founded Shepherd’s Heart Israel, an indigenous ministry raised up to serve believers in the land.
Jeremy is also the National Coordinator in Israel with Ebenezer Operation Exodus. Ebenezer is an international, interdenominational, Christian organization, with the purpose of helping Jewish people return to Israel. We are not politically correct; our goal is to be biblically correct, with our ultimate goal that Yeshua our Messiah would be exalted to the glory of God the Father.
‘Not unto us, O YHWH, not unto us, but unto Your name give glory, for Your covenant-love, and for Your truth’s sake. Why should the gentiles say, Where is now their God? But our God is in the heavens: He has done whatever He has pleased.’” (Psalm 115:1-3)
